Welcome to the yDNA project web page of the Pieter Kivett Family Association, Inc. This page is intended as a place where you may see the latest results from a project that has now officially started with my own sample profile and that of my Cousin Neill. With time and additional samples it is our hope that we may shed some light on the origins of our family through genetic markers. In this new year I continue to have hopes of a Kivett kindred from Europe seeing this web page and deciding to join the project. Most recent genetic typing tends to indicate the Kivetts are haplogroup R1b1b2 with numerous links in the UK and Ireland
